The Water Damage Problem

When The Homestar Group was first contacted by a homeowner in Cumming, they learned of the flood. The water had flooded from damaged pipes in the bathroom and spread throughout other areas of the home. 

The homeowner requested that The Homestar Group come to the house to complete an assessment so that they could offer a plan for the bathroom flooding cleanup. However, that wasn’t the only project they had in mind.

Repairing the Broken Pipes

One of the very first things the contractors had to do was repair the pipes so that the water damage wouldn’t occur again. Fortunately, they have access to the training and tools to repair damaged pipes and plumbing, so they were able to successfully repair the broken pipe in the bathroom. 

Cleaning up the Water Damage

From there, the process of cleaning up the water began. The contractors used their state-of-the-art equipment to remove any standing water from the house. Their wet/dry vacuums and pumps made the process go by much more quickly, so they could mitigate any secondary water damage risks. 

They also utilized commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to completely remove any moisture that remained in the air and materials. Their moisture meters allowed them to check the area to make sure that the area was totally dry.

Reconstructing and Remodeling
