Pine Log Park is located near Conyers, Georgia on Fayetteville Road. The park is divided into three sections: the picnic area, the playgrounds, and the recreational activities. There are many picnic tables in the covered pavilion, as well as extra sitting beneath an open gazebo. Visitors may also go trekking on one of two routes, including a 1.4-mile picturesque circle around Lake Carlton. A child playground with swings, slides, and climbing gear lies next to the picnic area. Horseshoes, shuffleboard courts, volleyball nets, and two softball fields are accessible on-site for leisure activities. Lake Carlton has three fishing jetties from which fishermen may throw their lines while fishing for bass, bream, and catfish.

Pine Log Park's history dates back to the days of logging. The park was formerly a thriving pine sawmill that supplied timber for the construction of homes, churches, barns, and schoolhouses across Georgia. Pine Log Park originated in 1887 as a privately owned company called Carlton Sawmill Village. After six years of struggle, the owners sold the village to 15 ex-employees who created the Carlton Lumber Company. The sawmill was operated by the company for four more years until closing in 1897 owing to a shortage of marketable timber. It reopened two years later after installing new machinery and restructuring its operations, but it closed permanently in 1905.

Pine Log Park is currently a public park open to the public. Throughout the year, Pine Log Park holds a variety of events such as Easter egg hunts, summer concerts, Halloween activities, and Christmas parties. Picnic spots, playgrounds, and recreational activities are offered on-site, so there is something for everyone in the family.
